“Public crucifixion taking place over a racially ignorant/intolerant comment. Both by UCLA students, the latter from a white student, and the former by what seems like everyone else — primarily the Asians. People take offense at such comments, and then proceed to debase themselves by hating back.
I agree she was WAY off base, especially to mention the tsunami in such a lax context, but it should be understood in America that you’ll always get people like that. What SHOULDN’T be the case is other supposedly educated students trying to start a mob lynching. Especially since it’s Asians doing it, it just makes us look worse.
=( We’re looking like hypocrites now. In awhile, when this is over, people are going to forgive the girl — or just ignore her — but people will remember Asians for acting rashly and recklessly. Handing out people’s private information is low as hell.”
